Mutabaruka (his curent name Hallan Hope) was born Allan in Jamaica in 1952. A Rastafarian 'Dub poet' \u00a0singer man, he was one of the new generation of Jamaican oral poets.<\/span>He began writing and performing in the late sixties. He uses musical accompaniment in his performances.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
