\nThe glue of time scrolls the crammed pages of a history\u00a0without a capital \u2019H\u2019. From African contemporary art to\u00a0African contemporary expressions. The paternal sentiment\u00a0get lost in it, only to be reborn into filial sentiment.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\nToday, we are not the fathers of Revue Noire, but its\u00a0offspring. Time, which we thought eternal, has closed\u00a0around the adventure of another way to feel and discover.\u00a0Finally, as its sole unsuspected consequence: progeny.

The herds of personal ambitions have replaced the herds\u00a0of collective ambitions. Without restraining the fertility\u00a0of time, of each time. In our society, sterility remains the\u00a0enduring prerogative of those who believe that they\u00a0understand it and govern it, while observing from afar\u00a0what cannot any longer be and even less what will be.\u00a0Attempting to put words onto concepts which refuse to let\u00a0themselves be confined. For the world of forms is indeed\u00a0the one of the concepts which refuse to be locked by the\u00a0equation of words without literature.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Here in Dakar, for this biennial which has been so dear\u00a0- essential - to us since its beginning, our filiation is\u00a0affirmed by Jo\u00ebl Andrianomearisoa. He will go through his\u00a0private memories and through the grand library of whole\u00a0or partial images of Revue Noire, the elements which\u00a0he will build his \u2019Maison Sentimentale\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Fragments, materials, words lost and recovered,\u00a0a new music of forms in thousands of full and empty pages,\u00a0little and immense, accompanies us in this long hall now gallery.\u00a0Not a \u2019Galerie des Glaces\u2019 (a Hall of Mirrors) to self-reflection but a walk\u00a0without any reflection of the night,\u00a0just the depth of mystery.<\/p>\n
