REVUE NOIRE
is an association of publishing editions and cultural events which groups together some passionated persons who want to have another glance on Africa and extra-occidental - outside the traditional exoticism and outside the reducing ethnology. Somewhere else also is modern. Somewhere else also lives with the same angoises, the same enjoyments and the same images as ours and as their own. The Other One also exists. To accept the other one is the first way to fight the difference, to fight what it is well named racism. The Other One is also a part of ourselves. To understand the Other One is even also to understand oneself.
Art and Culture are the places of excellences to find a worthy humanity excluding the discharge of the difference, to express a total gratitude of the other one.
